UK Ancestry Visa

The UK Ancestry Visa allows Commonwealth citizens and certain other nationals to live and work in the UK if they can prove they have a UK-born grandparent.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a Commonwealth citizen, British overseas citizen, British national (overseas), or a citizen of Zimbabwe

  • Prove that one of your grandparents was born in the UK, the Channel Islands, or Isle of Man
